In 2017, the foundation board decided to institute an annual Lipid Science Prize.
A 500.000 SEK (ca.50.000 EUR) award will premiere an internationally leading scientist who has provided outstanding contributions to the scientific progress and understanding of complex lipid systems, their structures, biological roles or life science applications.
Junior Research Prizes will be awarded promising young post doctoral researchers in Lund or Malmö University who have done an important contribution to research in the lipid field and also shown potential to establish themselves as independent researchers with new ideas on lipid assemblies, their function, and applications.
The Junior prizes are 50.000 SEK each.
